The ship and charter management company, Harmony Shipping LLC was formed in Dubai in 1996.

Harmony Shipping provides the full technical and commercial management and operation of ocean-going cargo vessels on a tramp basis .
The company is a member of The UK P&I Club - one of the largest shipowning insurance mutuals in the world, as well as The Baltic Exchange in London.

Harmony Shipping provides its clients with a daily monitoring of vessels under contract to include:
· negotiating and concluding the commercial employment of vessels for the affreightment of various commodities
· issuing voyage instructions to the ship’s captain and crew
· arranging bunker fuel stems
· liaison with port agents
· claims handling and liaison with insurers
· ship financing negotiations
· sale and purchase consultancy
· ship brokerage

Unicargo Inc, a tramp dry bulk operator which was formed in 1974 . Harmony Shipping exclusively manages their fleet of bulk carriers that trade globally on a tramp charter basis.

Unicargo's client base include leading commodity and industrial companies such as :

Cargill, Norsk Hydro, Swiss Marine, Pan Ocean, BHP Billiton, Conagra, Glencore, Chinabraz, Soufflet Negoce, Cremer Gruppe, Agrotrade, ICEC, EDF Man and Mekatrade Paris amongst others.

Shipowners with whom Unicargo charters include :

Marmaras, Thenamaris, Hanjin, Zodiac Maritime, NJ Goulandris, Agelef, Copenship, Cosco Bulk Carriers, Chartworld and Sevenseas London amongst others.
